Enjoy a stay in this memorable, old style, traditional farmhouse set in lush green farmland in the heart of the countryside

Come and experience the undiscovered Ireland. A stay in this memorable old style, traditional farm house, set in lush green farmland in the heart of the countryside, heals the heart soul and mind and gives an opportunity to experience quietness and tranquility.

You can walk through our farm roadways or take a bicycle ride around the local area to hear the warm witty tales of the neighbourhood. Carrigmore or Big Rock in the Irish Language is a major geological feature adjacent to the farm which can be used as a viewing point.

The farmhouse is situated approx 50 minutes from Shannon Airport, bypassing Limerick City and 3 miles from the village of Doon Co. Limerick.

The village:
The village has a Roman Catholic Church and has the following facilities- three grocery shops, one with petrol station and bakery, a butchers shop, a garage, a doctor’s surgery and pharmacy, a hardware store and post Office, a takeaway and numerous pubs with live entertainment at weekends for both young and old to enjoy.

Set in peaceful pastoral farmland the house offers you an opportunity to see a working farm, visit old castle ruins - (the nearest one in Castletown dating back to 1225, a non-Norman Castle with many unique features) and admire many beautiful country churches. If you wish to relax by fishing or deer stalking just let us know.

Nearby:
Your days can be spent visiting the Rock of Cashel, Cahir Castle and Swiss Cottage or roaming the Glen of Aherlow hills on foot or by horse-back. Ballykisteen Golf Club and Tipperary Race Course are only 8 kms from us. From Limerick City you can see Bunratty Castle and Folk Park, the Hunt Museum, Adare Heritage Centre or take a day trip to the Cliffs of Moher and the Ring of Kerry.
