Caherelly National School is a 5 teacher (5 main stream teachers and two Special Education Teachers) school, situated in a rural setting in East Limerick. We are a short distance from Limerick City and four miles from Ballyneety village on the main Limerick/ Kilmallock Road (R512).
Established in 1953 as a two teacher school we are now in the happy position of having newly renovated classrooms, a spacious PE hall, a resource room and offices. We have a newly revamped playground and we enjoy free access to green fields adjoining school which we avail of weather permitting.
There is a strong sense of community spirit throughout the school and we enjoy a very good relationship with local clubs and associations.
