Ballingarry National School

  • Ballingarry National School 810 x 456

The school caters for pupils from Junior Infants to Sixth Class. We are situated in the parish of Grannagh/Ballingarry, around 30km south west of Limerick City. Our school aspires to create a learning environment that is happy and child centred, which fosters a sense of community and nurtures respect for others in an atmosphere of inclusion and encouragement.

Christ the Saviour NS is a co-educational, Catholic primary school which strives to provide a well-ordered, caring, happy and secure atmosphere where the intellectual, spiritual, physical, moral and cultural needs of the pupil are identified and catered for.

While ours is a school with a Catholic ethos, it also shows due recognition for all other religions.

The school will strive to promote the professional and personal development of staff.

Parents are encouraged to become involved in school activities through home/school contacts and through involvement with the Parents Association.

Our school will endeavour to enhance the self-esteem of everyone in the school community, to instill in the pupils respect for people and property and to encourage in them the idea of being responsible.

Gender equity will be promoted at all times amongst the teachers and pupils.

The school motto is Mol an Óige is Tiocfaidh sí.
