King's Island Medical Centre

King's Island Medical Centre (formerly known as Dr. Murray’s Surgery) is one of Munster's and Limerick's first general practices co-located with the HSE (HSE queries can be addressed to 061 483020 re physiotherapy, speech and Language, Public Health Nurses, Dietician, Occupational, Chiropody,Eye clinic, etc). We have been providing General Practitioner services to the people of Limerick and the surrounding areas since the 1960’s. We aim to provide high-quality primary care to people of all ages and covering all general medical needs.

The practice is located in the King’s Island Primary Care Centre, an 11,000 square foot purpose-built medical facility located on King's Island in Limerick City. This central location offers three key medical facilities in one roof and represents a major step forward in healthcare in the area. 

King's Island Medical Centre is a training practice in the Mid Western General Practice Training Scheme. We are also affiliated with the University of Limerick Graduate Entry Medical School.
