With less than a month to go until the European jury decide which Irish shortlisted city will be designated European Capital of Culture in 2020, here are 6 ways we can back the bid and support the Limerick 2020 campaign. Let's win this together! #Limerick2020

1. Wear Limerick 2020 on your sleeve!

Pop into Culture House for free merchandise including badges, pins and pens! They can be picked up at Culture House, 2 Pery Square, Monday to Friday from 10am - 4pm. You can call ahead on +353 61 525031, or just drop in. 

2. Connect on social media!

If you’re not already following the Limerick 2020 campaign on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, then maybe you would like to join the thousands of people who do! Share, retweet, like, favourite, comment. 

3. Get a Limerick 2020 Twibbon for your profile picture!

Add the Limerick 2020 twibbon to your Twitter and Facebook profile. There are three quick steps:

  1. Go to the website http://twibbon.com/support/limerick-2020
  2. Click the 'Add to Twitter' and/or the 'Add to Facebook' buttons
  3. Authorise the changes that appear in the pop-up window!

With Limerick bursting at the seams with creative talent we urge you to follow the link and put your name on the list of Creatives in Limerick!

6. Follow the Stanzas Poetry Trail and share your images online

No longer confined to print, Stanzas literally have poetry climbing the walls of Limerick City! Eight poets from Stanzas, a poetry and prose writing group, have been commissioned to write poems for Limerick 2020. Quotes from their selected poems are popping up at mystery locations around the city, creating an interactive poetry trail. Stanzas are painting the town with poetry so keep your eyes peeled, you never know where poetry might be on the prowl! Once you hunt down and find a quote share your pictures on Instagram (@Limerick2020), Twitter (@Limerick2020) or on Facebook, then hop on to www.limerick2020.ie where you can read the entire poem!
