Start Small... Dream Big! The Acoustic Club Community Music Project

Join us this September as we introduce our Community Music Programme. The Acoustic Club has become a key part of the rich and varied music and creative arts scene in Limerick over the past number of years, as week after week songwriters and musicians gather to perform their work in a live venue.

But The Acoustic Club is much more than a live event.  We wish to make it a creative space where adults of all ages and abilities can come and share music and develop musical expression. We wish to make music an influential part of their lives, by providing hands-on music and performance instruction. Our mission is to increase access and extend learning opportunities to adults of all ages, levels and abilities throughout Limerick.

We offer an affordable way for all to participate and develop their music making. We provide music classes and lessons by excellent teachers on a Pay-As-You-Go basis, making no demands or commitments on participants.

As we move into autumn, now is the perfect time to take up a musical instrument. We hope you will join us and fill your life with music, friends and fun!

The Acoustic Club Community Music Project offer group instruction and we teach all adults of any age and ability.

Starting Tuesday 10th September and Thursday 12th September we currently offer instruction in Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced Guitar on Tuesday (6pm to 9pm), with an opportunity to learn from master artists as course progresses.

On Thursdays we offer Social Song writing for beginners from 6pm to 7pm and Performance Art (Singing techniques & stage presence) from 7pm to 8pm.

Each course lasts for 8 weeks and a certificate of completion is awarded on completion of the course. To Book a place telephone 087 7687803 (Guitar) or 087 1129239 (Songwriting & Performance). Fees are €5 per hour on a Pay-As-You-Go basis.

The Acoustic Club Community Music Project is supported by the Limerick Writers' Centre.
