Masterchefs Hospitality have been named as Overall Winner of Ireland’s ‘Best Catering Job’ for their contract catering work at Limerick’s Thomond Park at the 2018 National hospitality Awards (NHA) - the pre-eminent pan industry awards for the Irish hospitality sector.
Reacting to the award win, Pat O’Sullivan, Managing Director of Masterchefs Hospitality said, “It really has been an amazing few weeks of recognition for the company winning both prestigious awards but it’s as a result of the hard work and dedication of our team, who constantly strive to be the best and I’m proud to represent them.”
This accolade is the second high-profile award win in a matter of weeks with Masterchefs Hospitality having also been named Best Event Caterer at the 2018 Gold Medal Awards - the catering industry’s most sought after award, in late September.
These are the latest in a long list of industry award wins for Masterchefs Hospitality over recent years, who have been recognised by several independent bodies as market leaders in multiple facets of the catering and hospitality industry.
Previous award wins include being named Ireland’s Event Caterer and Ireland’s Supreme Caterer at the Gold Medal Awards in 2015 on a national level. In 2016 the same awarding body also named Masterchefs Hospitality Ireland’s Industrial Caterer 2016 for their work for The Pavilion at the University of Limerick. On a local level, the company was also named Limerick Chamber of Commerce’s Best Hospitality Business Award 2012 and Best Large Indigenous Award 2013.
Masterchefs Hospitality, whose portfolio of services range from contract catering at the likes of Thomond Park, University of Limerick, NUI Galway and the HSE, to event catering at the 2018 Ploughing Championships, Weddings, Corporate and Outdoor Catering, beat off stiff competition from multiple caterers to claim the exclusive catering award.
