EVA International Hosts an Open Site Research Day in Limerick city and county

  • Open Site Research

EVA are happy to announce a one-day schedule of cultural meanderings through Limerick City and County, led by Bernardine Carroll and Carl Doran, on Friday 23 August.

The schedule includes visits to key sites of social and political history, as well as introductions to environmental issues of the region.

The event is free and open to the public, but numbers are strictly limited and booking is essential. The schedule will begin at 10am and will conclude at 4pm. A minibus will be provided. Attendees are advised to bring their own refreshments and wet weather clothing. Please contact info@eva.ie to book a place.

This public event also forms part of the research process for artists Bora Baboci (Albania) and Anca Benera and Arnold Estefan (Romania), undertaking residencies in Limerick throughout August in the development of new commissioned artwork for the 39th EVA International, 2020. The residencies are supported by the MagiC Carpets platform programme.
