Newcastle West for Teenagers

Whether your teenager is a thrill seeker or more of a chilled out spirit we've got them covered in Newcastle West!

For the more lively teenager in your life the skate park which is located between the centre of town and the entrance to the Demesne is an ideal spot for them to burn off some energy!

If they are more comfortable with a sliotar, football or rugby ball then there are no shortage of playing fields in the Demesne for an impromptu match with friends or siblings.

A dip in the pool in the local leisure centre is an ideal way to cool off after earlier exertions. A fast paced cycle on the Limerick Greenway is another of the many ways to keep your teenager entertained for the day.

If you're feeling competitive why not head to the nearby Basecamp Adventure Park in Shanagolden? Located about a 15 minute drive away this 80-acre forest offers lots of activities including Forest Archery, Paintball, Splatball and Bushcraft.

For a more chilled out few hours teens can get some peace at the local library or visit the local youth club to meet other local teens.
