When you visit the iconic site of Lough Gur you can follow a trail on arrival that will take you on a walk to the most ancient monuments and historic sites in Ireland. All without a price!

If you would like to avail of the acoustic guides from the heritage centre you can pick up the handsets for just €5, this price also includes entrance to Lough Gur Heritage Centre. The acoustic guides have the following languages: German, French, Spanish and English.

The audio guides have 15 tracks that correspond to the Lough Gur iTrails Map, which can be downloaded here.

Numbers 1 - 5 follow a short walking trail while numbers 6 - 15 recount the lore and legends associated with Lough Gur. The stops with alphabetical references point to areas of interest. including Ireland’s largest and oldest stone circle!
