Parkville FC

  • Parkville FC 810 x 456

Founded in 1988, Parkville FC has gone from strength to strength, with a dedicated committee committed to providing football opportunities for players of all ages, from 3 years old through to junior football.

Based in the Meelick, Parteen and Corbally communities, Parkville FC is a proud community club catering for players across a wide range of age groups. Our teams compete in the Limerick District League (LDL)at Junior and Youth level, including U17, Junior A, Junior B football, as well as the Limerick District Schoolboy/Girl League (LDSL) from U7 through to U16.

We also run our Minis programme for children aged 3–6, which takes place every Saturday morning at 9:00am on the astro pitch at St Mary's Rugby Club, providing young children with an enjoyable introduction to football in a fun and friendly environment.

Originally established as Meelick/Parteen FC, the club later became known as Parkville FC, reflecting our continued growth and strong links with the surrounding communities.

Since 16 August 2010, Parkville FC has proudly played its home games at our grounds in Knockalisheen, which remain at the heart of our club and community.

The club is currently chaired by Colm Prenderville, supported by a dedicated committee, coaches, volunteers, players and parents who all play an important role in the continued development of Parkville FC.
