Rathkeale boxing club has one of the best training facilities in the country, with top of the range equipment and changing rooms/showers, for both male and female.
Rathkeale Boxing Club is affiliated with the Irish Amateur Boxing Association, the club currently has more than 60 male and female boxers.
Membership
Age 9 to 11 - €10 for the year and €2 per session
Over 11 is €20 for the year and €2 per session
The boxing season starts in September.
Training times
Tuesday - 6.45pm to 7.45pm for underage boxers and from 8pm - 9.30pm for over 11s.
Thursday - 6.45pm to 7.45pm for underage boxers and from 8pm to 9.30pm for over 11s.
Sunday mornings - This training session is for boys or girls going for titles.
Anyone over the age of 12 can train in the club on Monday and Friday nights from 7pm - 8pm.
