Perfect for families, dog-walkers and casual strollers, the site offers everything from a natural amphitheatre, community vegetable gardens, dedicated walking trails and wetlands and reed beds. The park also functions as a wildlife reserve, boasting woodland plantings, wildflowers and waterbirds including mallard ducks and swans.
Established on the former site of an industrial facility, this 13-acre parkland has been transformed into a peaceful haven of rural tranquillity. The park has over 7,000 native trees all planted by volunteers and reed beds designed to treat wastewater from the nearby Kantoher Business Park and new housing planned for the nearby villages of Ashford and Raheenagh.
