Knockpatrick Gardens is a 100 year old botanical farmhouse garden and home to many rare and exotic plants that have been carefully nurtured by it’s owners over three generations.

The garden is home to a collection of trees, shrubs and plants from all over the world. We have Meconopsis (Blue Poppies) from the Himalaya’s, Clianthus (Lobster Claw) from New Zealand, Bolivian Fuchia, Embothrium (Chilian Firebush) from Chile, a large collection of Magnolia’s, Rhododendron, Azalea’s, Roses, Primula’s, Hydrangea. The garden is laid out on several levels with various water features and ecosystems (woodland area, arboretum, scree bed, rockery). We work hard to maintain colour and interest in the garden all year round.

Just off the N69, a short distance from Foynes. Ideally situated for a day trip from Limerick, Shannon, Ennis and Tipperary or if you are on the Wild Atlantic Way route.

Garden tours are most welcome!
