The quality of this state of the art facility is a great example of efforts by the Glin Development Association in conjunction with Limerick City and County Council and local bodies to promote healthy and fun activities for children.
The play equipment includes flat swing, cradle swing, basket swing, junior spica, spring seesaw, shark springer, spinner bowl, toddler multi play unit, junior multi play unit and super nova.
There is seating and ample car parking available. This area is a perfect location for a picnic, overlooking the Shannon with views to County Clare and beyond.
There is also a walking trail along the Shannon that can be accessed by a new pedestrian bridge over the Corbry River in the Park. A tennis court is located nearby and the playground is within walking distance of Glin Town Centre.
