Live At The Castle in King John’s Castle, is situated in the heart of medieval Limerick City and is Limericks newest live music concert venue kicking off with The Coronas sell out performance on 30th April 2016.

King John's Castle is a 13th-century castle located on King’s Ireland in Limerick, next to the River Shannon although the site dates back to 922 when the Vikings lived on the Island. The castle itself was built on the orders of King John in 1200.

One of the best preserved Norman castles in Europe, the walls, towers and fortifications remain today. The remains of a Viking settlement were uncovered during archaeological excavations at the site in 1900.

Live at the castle has become a must-see music event welcoming acts such as Imelda May & The Coronas with King John's castle providing the perfect venue for a unique live music experience.
