Sections of Canal Bank Walkway to close for maintenance purposes

Limerick City and County Council can today (Wednesday 4 January 2023) confirm that due to necessary hedge cutting works along the Canal Bank Walkway, sections of the walkway between the Pa Healy Rd Bridge to the University of Limerick Boathouse will be closed between Monday January 9 2023 and Friday January 20 2023.

Limerick City and County Council Publishes 2022 Gender Pay Gap Report

Limerick City and County Council has today (Wednesday December 21) published its Gender Pay Gap Report for 2022. The gender pay gap is the difference in the average hourly wage of men and women across a workforce. Employers with more than 250 employees in Ireland are now required to publish their gender pay gap data.

Christmas Tree Recycling dates for January 2023

Limerick City and County Council is encouraging all households to dispose of their real Christmas Trees in an environmentally friendly way. The council-run recycling centres in Mungret, Kilmallock, Newcastle West and Gortadroma will accept Christmas Trees for the month of January.
