Tens of thousands of visitors flocked to Limerick over the May Bank Holiday weekend in 2026 to enjoy four days of celebration, community spirit and world-class entertainment across the city.
Once again, the festival transformed Limerick into a lively hub of activity, with a packed programme that included the ever-popular Riverfestival Village, dynamic street performances, live music, cultural events and a breathtaking fireworks display that lit up the city skyline. Water-based activities on the River Shannon, engaging interactive experiences, and a diverse range of food and entertainment ensured there was something for everyone to enjoy.
