Croom Christmas Craft Market

There’s something special about finding a gift that feels a little different. Maybe it’s a handmade decoration, a piece of jewellery or something you know someone will love but would never think to buy for themselves. Now imagine finding those gifts under one roof, meeting the people who make them and taking a little time out to enjoy a hot chocolate or a cup of tea with friends. Over the past five years, the market has provided an opportunity to showcase talented makers, support small businesses and bring people together in the lead-up to Christmas.

Organising a market like this takes plenty of planning, but for Croom Community Development Association (CCDA), it is about more than setting up stalls. It is about creating an event where people can meet, browse, discover something new and enjoy being part of their community. Christmas shopping can sometimes feel like a race to get everything ticked off the list. For us, the Christmas Craft Market has always been about more than shopping. It is about community spirit, connection and giving people a reason to come together. At the CCDA stall, you can pick up a cup of tea or coffee, enjoy a warming non-alcoholic mulled wine, or treat yourself to a hot chocolate topped with marshmallows and cream.

We also have a seating area where you can take a break from browsing, sit down with a drink and have a chat with friends, family or neighbours. Sometimes, the best part of a community event is the conversation you weren't expecting to have. It might be catching up with someone you haven't seen. in a while, meeting a neighbour for a chat or simply taking a few minutes to relax in good company. Follow Croom Development on Facebook and Instagram for stallholder features, event updates and further details in the lead-up to the market. Five years of festive shopping, local talent and community spirit.

We look forward to celebrating with you in Croom.
