The Highlanders Wedding Party: Music, Dance and Tradition

Friday 18th September @ 6pm
  • Two people dancing

Step into the joyful world of a traditional Polish wedding and experience one of Poland's most vibrant cultural traditions.

Led by a charismatic Wodzirej (Master of Ceremonies), The Highlanders Wedding Party invites audiences of all ages to sing, dance, learn and celebrate together.

Featuring live music, a Polish choir, authentic traditional costumes, storytelling and folk dance demonstrations, this unique Culture Night event brings the spirit of a Polish wedding to life.

Discover the customs surrounding the giving away of the bride, explore regional traditions and learn about the role of music and community in Polish celebrations.

Most importantly, this is not a performance to simply watch it is an experience to join. Audience members will be encouraged to participate in traditional dances, learn simple folk dance steps, sing along and become part of the celebration.

This family-friendly event celebrates cultural diversity, community connection and shared experiences through music and dance.

Whether you have Polish roots or are discovering Polish culture for the first time, come along and enjoy an unforgettable evening filled with laughter, live music, movement and tradition.

No dance experience required, just bring your enthusiasm and join the party!
