A talk on Lough Gur rich archaeological legacy by Rose Cleary who has spent 40 years excavating sites around the lake.

Lough Gur is one of Ireland's most important archaeological landacapes and no one has spent more time exploring it than Rose Cleary. Across her career Rose has repeatedly returned to Lough Gur and her work has hepled redefine the history of the region. This culminated in the publication of her book The Archaeology of Lough Gur, which has become the foundational text for anyone interested in Lough Gur's past. This is a unique chance to hear the most important academic voice at Lough Gur.
