Don’t Fear the Repair is both a bad pun, and a free repair workshop.
At the workshop, we have volunteers skilled in repairing various types of items who will sit with you to diagnose and hopefully repair your items. We’ll try to fix most things as long as they are portable, and don’t already have a reliable repair business ecosystem. We won’t repair large appliances, motor vehicles, or medical/safety devices. First come, first served. The event is meant to educate the public in the practice of repair, promote the idea of a circular economy, and save some items from landfills. Bring something broken, we’ll try to fix it! Sit with us, and learn how to fix it yourself. Save some money. Save something from landfill.
