This St. Patrick’s Festival, Treaty City Brewery is putting a salty spin on tradition.
The story goes that St. Patrick banished the snakes into the sea and around here we like to think they came back as seaweed. Every year we mark the occasion with our limited-edition Seaweed Stout, brewed with locally sourced dillisk — and this year we’re inviting you in to taste the tale. Your ticket includes:
- A guided brewery tour
- Two 200ml tasters of our core beers
- A 2/3 pint of Seaweed Stout
- A tasting of dillisk (the very seaweed used in the brew)
The full story behind this uniquely Limerick creation Across St. Patrick’s weekend, the brewery will also be decked out for the festival, serving a seasonal toastie, a special festival scone, and a limited-edition cocktail alongside our full range of beers brewed right here in the heart of Limerick’s Medieval Quarter. Trad music is on Sunday 15th March from 5pm-8pm here in the Brewery, or come celebrate with us after the St. Patrick’s day Parade on Tuesday. Expect bold flavour, a bit of legend, and a proper Limerick welcome.
