Top 8 are presenting their Hip Hop & Street Dance Festival with a weekend of events taking place across Limerick City.
This is an invitation to everyone of all ages, cultural backgrounds and ethnicities.
Session 1: Festival Launch & Conversations with Limerick’s Hip Hop & Street Dance pioneers, hosted by State Your Flow I Hook & Ladder I 9pm Thursday 26th March | Free
Session 2: Beat Makers “Cookout” I AfroDelight I 5pm – 7pm Friday 27th March | Free, Family Friendly
Session 3: DJ Turntablism Cypher, hosted by Community Scratch Games & Downbeat Records | Wickham Way | 7pm – 9.30pm Friday 27th March
Session 4: Top 8 Street Dance Battle | Cyphers will be held in the Crescent Shopping Centre (12pm – 4pm); Battle Finals will be held in The Church, Dance Limerick (7pm – 9pm) | Saturday 28th March | Family Friendly
Session 5: Festival Closing Party with Local and National DJs | The Record Room | 10pm until Late Saturday 28th March
Session 6: Beatbox Battle in partnership with Irish Beatbox Association | Wickham Way | 4pm – 6pm Sunday 29th March | Free, Family Friendly
Session 7: Beginner Hip Hop and Breaking Dance Workshops | Dance Limerick | 1pm – 3pm Sunday 29th March
Session 8: DJ Workshop | Dry Lane Studio | 1pm – 3pm Sunday 29th March
Session 9: Graffiti Jam | Wickham Way | Friday 27th – Sunday 29th March
