Electric Picnic 2025 headliners Kings of Leon are Ireland-bound for a massive summer show at Thomond Park Stadium, Limerick on 1st July 2026.

Rapidly ascending four-piece Florence Road have just been announced as special guests.

Recognised as one of the world's biggest alternative rock bands of the last 20 years, Kings of Leon’s rich tour history includes headlining festivals such as Coachella, Glastonbury, Roskilde, Reading and Leeds, numerous Lollapalooza's in Berlin, Sao Paulo, Chicago, Santiago, plus multiple open-air Irish concerts including Slane Castle in 2011. They also reclaimed their all-time attendance record, with a recent fifth night at London's massive Hyde Park venue.

Since their debut in 2003, Kings of Leon (Caleb (guitar/vocals), Nathan (drums), Jared (bass) and Matthew Followill (guitar)) have released nine albums - Youth & Young Manhood (2003), Aha Shake Heartbreak (2004), Because of the Times (2007), Only by the Night (2008), Come Around Sundown (2010), Mechanical Bull (2013), WALLS (2016), When You See Yourself  (2021), 'Can we please have fun’ (2024), sold over 20 million albums and nearly 40 million singles worldwide. Accolades include eight Grammy award nominations, three Grammy wins, three NME Awards, two Brit Awards, and one Juno Award.

Last November, Kings of Leon dropped an EP with 4 new songs. Other recent releases include a ‘Live in Jersey’ single from Zach Bryan featuring Bruce Springsteen and Kings of Leon, covering the Springsteen classic “Atlantic City’, and, prior to that, a couple of new songs with Zach Bryan.

Florence Road are rapidly becoming one of the most talked-about new bands in the world. Praised by NME, Rolling Stone, Clash, and The Line of Best Fit, the Wicklow four-piece have built a devoted audience of nearly 1 million followers, all before their debut mixtape had even dropped last June.
