Live95, Limerick’s most-listened-to local radio station, has launched a major new initiative to celebrate and champion Limerick’s best businesses.
Live95’s Best of Limerick competition, sponsored by the Limerick Gift Card, will give the people of Limerick City and County the power to nominate and vote for their favourite local establishments, with the winners to be announced at a special awards event in October, where one lucky finalist will WIN a €5,000 Advertising campaign on Live95. The campaign, which is currently underway with the nomination phase, is a direct call to the community to support and recognise the businesses that are the backbone of the local economy. The public will be asked to nominate their top picks across ten key categories, including Best Local Bar/Pub, Best Breakfast, and Best Hair Salon.
According to Julie White, Sales & Marketing Manager for Live95, the competition is a natural fit for the station’s commitment to the local community.
“We are incredibly proud to launch Live95’s ‘Best of Limerick’ campaign. It’s a positive and engaging way for us to connect with our audience and, more importantly, to shine a much-deserved light on the hard work of local business owners,” Ms. White said. “This is about generating real excitement and showing tangible support. We’re encouraging everyone to get involved and make their voice heard.”
The competition is proudly sponsored by the Limerick Gift Card, an initiative of Limerick Chamber in partnership with Limerick City and County Council.
