Director's Cut, selected works from the Permanent Collections
To mark the retirement of the current Director, Úna McCarthy we have selected a number of works for this exhibition, Director’s Cut. The eclectic range of work, which focuses primarily on painting but also includes sculpture, drawings and ceramics. A significant number of works are by locally based artists who sit cheek by jowl with national and international artists.

The print portfolio from Hollander Print Workshop New York, produced in the 1960’s & 1970’s with a display of prints compiled by Jim Sheehy, as a master printmaker, teacher, and artist, LCGA is indebted to his generosity over the last 30 years.
The prints are by leading American artists from the 1960’s & 1970’s, featuring prints by: William Gropper, Ben Kamihara, Walasse Ting, Sam Francis, Robert Raushenberg, John Cage, Ulfert Wilke, Lila Katzen, Jacques Lipchitz, Jasper John, Fred Genis, Saul Steinberg, Don Nice, Robert Morris, Mark Tobey, James Rosenquist, Peter Takel, Irwin Hollander, Robert Motherwell, Robert Indiana, Richard Anuszkiwics, Joseph Pla-Narbona, Jean-Michel Folon, Maryan s.
