Amanda Coogan is one of the most exciting contemporary visual artists whose practice revolves around Performance Art. Her expertise lies in her ability to condense an idea to its very essence and communicate it through her body.
Amanda Coogan has been the recipient of the AIB’s Art prize in 2004. She has performed and exhibited her work extensively including the Venice Biennale, Liverpool Biennial, IMMA, Dublin, RHA, Dublin and Uilinn, West Cork. Coogan is represented by the Kevin Kavanagh Gallery, Dublin.
