The Adult Counselling Service provides the individual with the opportunity to explore his or her past abuse experiences in a safe confidential and non judgemental place. All the counsellors working with the Service are healthcare professionals with counselling accreditation.
Adult Counselling Service is for adults (over 18's) who have suffered childhood physical, emotional or sexual abuse or neglect. This is a community based counselling service for counties Limerick, Clare and North Tipperary. It is an H.S.E. Service and is free of charge to all clients. Self referrals are accepted and referrals from statutory, voluntary and other professionals should be made by completing a referral form which is available from the office.
