Limerick celebrates National Tree Week 2016

To celebrate National Tree Week (6th-13th March 2016) Cllr. Liam Galvin, Mayor of the City and County of Limerick, planted an oak tree in Abbeyfeale Park watched by local schoolchildren

Limerick City and County Council will be distributing a limited number of free tree saplings as part of National Tree Week which takes place from March 6th – 13th 2016.

  • Kilmallock Recycling Centre, Kilmallock Industrial Park: Saturday 12th March
  • Newcastle West Recycling Centre, Station Road: Saturday 12th March
  • Mungret Recycling Centre, Dock Road: Wednesday 9th and Saturday 12th March
