One of the simplest actions that can be taken to help pollinators is to do nothing! If areas of grass are left unmown during the growing season or mown less frequently, they will gradually develop into wildflower meadows.
In 2020, we will be allowing some areas to naturally develop into meadows by leaving them uncut until September. This will be done on some of our roundabouts, road verges and in some of our parks. Look out for the signs and let us know what you think.
