Castletroy Slí na Sláinte Walking Route

The Castletroy Slí na Sláinte is a 6.8km route which starts at the junction of Milford Road and the Dublin Road.

To follow the route, continue along the Dublin road for over 2kms passing through the Kilmurray Roundabout before turning left at the Annacotty roundabout and then onto Plassey Park Road.

Turn left at the next roundabout and continue along Plassey Park Road for over 2kms, passing the University of Limerick on the right. Turn left at the Groody Roundabout and continue back to the starting point on the Dublin Road. Suitable as a daytime route only and can be walked in both directions.

Slí na Sláinte stands for 'path to health'. Developed by the Irish Heart Foundation - the national heart and stroke charity - it's the outgoing way to make walking far more enjoyable.

You'll find Slí na Sláinte walking routes all over Ireland. They are marked by bright and colourful signposts which are not numbered and are situated at 1 km intervals. Simply follow the Km signs, set your pace to suit your enjoyment and you'll quickly feel better and get fitter.
