Fleadh by the Feale 2017

Thursday 27th April - Monday 1st May

Main Street, Abbeyfeale, Co. Limerick

Categories: Music, Music Festival, Traditional Music, Family Fun, Riverfest

Fleadh by the Feale is a long running traditional festival celebrating its 23rd year in existence in 2017.

One of the extraordinary features of the festival throughout the years has been the amount of outdoor entertainment, including a busking competition for 9 - 18 year old on Main Street.

There will be plenty of music on the Gig Rig in the town square throughout the weekend with the International Bone Playing competition taking place on Monday 1st May.

Traditional music will flow from many of the pubs throughout the weekend, while on Sunday night Frankie Gavin and DeDannan will be in concert in Colaiste Ide & Iosef - tickets €20.

Included in the weekend there will also be art competitions for Primary Schools, various workshops in the Convent Primary School and story telling in St. Ita's Hall.
