This is a medium size shallow lake in beautiful, historic surroundings.

This is a 45 acre lake about 29 kms west of Limerick City and 10 kms from Adare, just off the route N21 near the town of Rathkeale. It is a stocked fishery with primarily brown trout and some rainbow trout, ranging from 1½ lbs to 10 lbs.

About 50% of the main River Feale is controlled by local angling clubs. These club stretches are some of the best angling waters, and each club offers day tickets for visiting anglers.

Flowing through Croom and Adare in County Limerick through to the Shannon Estuary. The main River Maigue gets a nice run of spring salmon and a good run of grilse but the system is primarily a trout fishery.
