11th February 2013: The 2013 Limerick St Patrick’s Festival is pulling out all the stops to turn the Treaty City green with a huge display of St Patrick’s who will fill the city’s main thoroughfare of O’Connell Street to celebrate The Year of the Gathering.

Facilities in Galtee Castle Wood incluce a car park and picnic site with seats on the riverside and woodland and riverside walks.
Greenwood has about 2.5 km of walking trails including a crossing over a footbridge over the ravine. Views of waterfall especially after heavy rain. Greenwood forms part of the O'Sullivan Bere Walk.
University Concert Hall (UCH) is a 1,000 seat multi-purpose venue and the first purpose built concert hall in the country.
