Limerick's Urban Horses are back following a collaboration from Limerick Corridor Art and clients of the Probation and Linkage in Limerick Scheme to bring creative imagination to Limerick's People Park with the latest addition to the Urban Herd, PALL’S Horse.

This National City of Culture 2014 legacy and commissioning project is here to stay with plans for further additions to the Urban Herd over the next few years.

Limerick Corridor Art now has 21 public art instillations in and around Limerick City.

The horse models were painted by Limerick people from the ages of 8 to 80 years. Each project is artist led and combines additional information on the care of horses.

This is a unique project and a rare opportunity for communities to engage in public artwork that is truly interactive.

These artworks are designed to be user friendly and invite young and old to interact with the work; it can be touched, sat on and children have been known to slide down the horse’s nose!
