Russell Ferris General Manager stated "The Spin Southwest Student Raceday is a fantastic experience, the atmosphere at last year’s event was electric and unlike anything I had experienced at any race meeting (not even Cheltenham!). Students are integral to the success of racing for the next generation and days like this have undoubtedly whetted the appetite and interest in horse racing as we have seen a noted increase in students attending the races throughout the year. The only advice I would give is get here early and don’t miss it!"

Gates open from 2.30pm with the first race at 4.30pm with 7 races. A SPIN Southwest Radio DJ shall be broadcasting live from the racecourse on the day followed by live band Recoil till late, other fun activities include Bucking Bronco, Photo booth.
