Limerick Hockey Club was given Clubmark status by the Irish Hockey Association (IHA) last month at their AGM in Dublin.
Achieving Clubmark means that that the IHA endorses and supports a clubs programme for youth hockey, it's policies and procedures, development, planning and club management.
The IHA is committed to developing and recognising a network of quality club structures that are successfully managed, safe, child friendly and where excellent coaching is on offer.
Clubmark is a Club Development and Award programme which aims to guide clubs to achieve a mark of quality, identifying their practices as best in these key areas.
