Sohol Events are pleased to announce the Limerick City Obstacle Course taking place on Sunday 14th September 2014. Start and finish line is at Howley’s Quay taking entrants on a breathtaking circuit adventure through an obstacle covered Limerick City.

Obstacles will be placed along a 7km route that will involve climbing, swinging, dashing and racing! No long boring run, entrants will be kept on their toes the whole time.

Event Manager Dave Ryan said: “These urban style obstacle courses have been very successful in the USA and UK and we are excited to be the first to bring it to Ireland and what better place to bring it to than Limerick City of Culture.

“It's not a race but more about challenging yourself, which we feel is accessible to all fitness levels. If you can't do it, walk around it, grab a buddy and come down, it’s a great day out!”

Suzanne O’Brien of Limerick’s Live 95FM said: “We are delighted Limerick City Obstacle Course is making the 95 Stop Tour their charity of choice, we hope to raise much needed funds for both the Limerick Children’s Arc & Cari Limerick”.

Peter Clohessy is delighted to be sponsoring the event: “This is something Ireland has never seen in a city before and I am delighted to be associated with what is set to be a great event for Limerick City”.

There will be plenty of post race entertainment with a BBQ and band waiting to great you at the finish line.
