No longer will disabled drivers need to search for accessible parking bays only to find them occupied. The revolutionary new SpaceFinder app, available on Apple and Android, can now pinpoint vacant accessible spaces and for those with Apple CarPlay, provide real-time navigation to the nearest available space.

More than half a million euro in funding for outdoor recreation projects in Limerick

Limerick has received funding of €583,868.24 to develop a number of outdoor recreation projects across the county.

Limerick City and County Council has received the bulk of the funding totalling €545,100 with Ballyhoura Development and West Limerick Resources receiving €38,768 as part of the Outdoor Recreation Infrastructure Scheme operated by the Department of Rural and Community Development, as part of the Our Rural Future strategy.

Limerick Jazz in association with Improvised Music Company will host the first ever Young Irish Jazz Musician 2022 in University Concert Hall, Limerick on the evening of Sunday 10th April 2022. Finalists will perform with a Limerick Jazz house band for a panel of judges, led by world-renowned composer and legendary Limerick musician Bill Whelan.
