Scheduled to coincide with World Water Day on 22nd March, this event did not go ahead as planned due to Covid-19 public health restrictions.
The aim was to publicise and celebrate the businesses that signed up to the Refill.ie initiative in Limerick, so that citizens could find out more about the locations to refill your reusable water bottle.
Refill Ireland is an environmental project aiming to make free refills of tap water available for everyone while on the go.
Call into any of the businesses that have signed up and they will refill your reusable bottle for FREE. This reduces dependence on single use plastic bottles.
There will also be information on planned public water fountains for the city and beyond with assistance from Healthy Ireland funding.
