Children’s poetry offers unfettered access to the childlike imagination, and can be serious or funny, whimsical or weighty, educational or just plain entertaining. Often the unsung younger sibling of adult poetry, it offers a fresh way of looking at the poetic form, and at the world in general.
Through a series of ingenious exercises Alan’s workshop will help to awaken a mischievous muse in every budding childrens’ poet.
