Polish Arts Festival 2020: Children's Art Competition

Polish Arts Festival is running a children’s open art competition in response to the Covid-19 crisis to encourage artistic creativity, originality and self-expression. The competition has 3 different age categories.

We want children in Ireland to produce and submit an original piece of artwork to do with absolutely anything that interests them and write a small story about it.

How to Enter

Only one entry per person will be accepted.
Send a photo of your painting to polishartsfestival@gmail.com with: 

  1. Your age category in the email subject, e.g. 'Under 6 - Anna Smith, Age 5 - Flower Drawing'
  2. Your name
  3. Age
  4. Title and medium of painting or drawing

We will accept work in any medium and may be drawn or painted in pencil, charcoal, pen and ink, crayon, pastel, watercolour, gouache, acrylics, digital, oils, poster colour,  collage, photo or film.

Closing Date

Entries will close on Sunday 22nd November and the judges will make a shortlist of finalists in each category which will be posted online on our website from 27th November until 13th December, with the winners being announced on 26th November at the official opening of the festival at 7pm online.


11-14 years old - 1st prize €100 One4all voucher

6-10 years old - 1st prize €75 One4all voucher

Under 6 years - 1st prize €50 One4all voucher

1st, 2nd and 3rd places in all age categories will receive a gift from Polish Arts Festival in a form of a sweet hamper sponsored by Polish Shop Wisła.
