Originally a suite of chamber works, Brian Byrne’s twenty-one track album, Goldenhair, sets the stanzas of select poems from James Joyce’s 1907 collection “Chamber Music” to original orchestrations.
Ranging in style from contemporary, to jazz, bluegrass and more.
Performing a selection of songs from this album, IFTA award winning Brian will be joined on the evening by a 16 piece orchestra and acclaimed vocalists.
Special guests, actors Stephen Rea and Patrick Bergin, will also join him on stage to narrate some of the famous Joyce pieces.
