Participants will look at the Georgian architecture of Limerick City, particularly the Crescent, O’Connell Street. Participants will learn about its style and features and will then learn how to design a house/ building from that era and construct it using white card and cut black paper.
Using the techniques that built the set of Bláth for inspiration, each person will make their own building. At the end of the workshop, each participant takes a photo of their Georgian building and we will assemble them to build a replica of Limerick’s famous Crescent which will feature on our website.
