Limerick Pride Festival will take place Monday 4th - Sunday 10th July with Limerick Pride Parade taking place on Saturday 9th July.

Monday 4th July

A Culture of Pride - Official launch of Limerick Pride Festival @ 6pm
Ormston House, 9-10 Patrick Street
Including performance by renowned Limerick movement artist Mark Carberry and a talk on film and theatre actress Alice O’Day by Sharon Slater.

Dragaoke Night @9pm
McGettigans, Lower Mallow Street
A night of karaoke and drag performances in honour of Leo Shine.

Tuesday 5th July

Kaleidoscope Exhibition - Launch by Myles Breen @ 6pm

The Morning After The Life Before @ 8pm

Limerick Pride Youth Party @ 5pm - 8pm
Lava Javas Youth Café, 5 Lower Glentworth Street
Presented by Limerick Youth Service, young people (14-19yrs) are invited to enjoy music and meet new people at this free event.

T'was the Night Before Pride from 1pm
Mickey Martins, 1 Augustinian Lane
Traditional pre-pride party with street performers, guest DJ’s and camp classics.

Southill Pride Family @ 4.30pm - 6.30pm
Southill Hub, Donough O'Malley Park
Activities, fun things to do and a BBQ open to young people, parents, and community members.

Saturday 9th July

Limerick Pride Parade @ 2pm
Gathering at Pery Square from 12.20pm for floats, with groups gathering from 12.50pm. The Parade will begin at 2pm, the Parade will make its way across Mallow Street to Henry Street, past Arthur's Quay Park, ending at the Hunt Museum.

PrideFest 2022 @ 3pm - 6pm
Hunt Museum, Rutland Street
A showcase of local LGBT culture in a lavish marquee in the museum gardens. This is a free family-friendly event with a free bouncing castle for kids, cone van, café and bar on site, live music and plenty of entertainment including the Annual Tea Dance with Myles Breen.

Education: Support meetings will be held during the week for youth, adult and trans groups.

Irish Names Quilt Exhibition
Limerick City Gallery of Art -  4th -17th July
GOSHH invites all members of the LGBTI+ community, their family, friends, allies, and people with an interest in culture and history to visit the exhibition. The Irish Names Project was created in honour and remembrance of those who died in Ireland from AIDS and HIV-related illnesses.
