Limerick Pride Parade, the highlight of the annual festival is a chance for the LGBTQ community, family, friends and the entire city, to gather to promote and celebrate diversity and equality.
The Limerick Pride Festival 2019 will feature a multitude of events from workshops, support meetings and discussions, to evenings of music and club nights, to cater to the Pride needs of everyone.
The annual Limerick LGBTQ Pride Parade on Saturday July 13 will bring some extra colour and music to Limerick City Centre. Gathering at Limerick City and County Council Headquarters at Merchant's Quay at 1.30pm and travelling up Patrick St, continuing all the way up O’Connell St before turning right onto Lower Mallow St, and then turning right again on to Henry St and continuing all the way down past Arthurs Quay Park. We then turn left onto Rutland St to end up back outside the Council building.
Expect full-on colour, dance, music, street performance and theatrics. Be loud, be bold, be daring, be there!
Limerick LGBTQ Pridefest 2019 will be held in the gardens of the Hunt Museum. This is a free family-friendly event with a bouncing castle for kids, cone van, café and bar on site, live music and plenty of entertainment.
