A national day of free creativity for children and young people, Cruinniú na nÓg will take place on Saturday 11 June 2022. Children and young people are invited to take part in a range of events and workshops delivered by Limerick Culture and Arts Office.

Cruinniú na nÓg is a national initiative that celebrates and encourages participation in culture and creativity through performance, theatre, art and music workshops, readings, screenings, special events and much more.

It is about giving children and young people the opportunity to express themselves through a specially curated programme of cultural and creative activities where they can share their ideas, learn new skills and have fun!

All events are free of charge, child-centred and activity based. It’s a day for lots of doing, making and creating!

Film Screening

An outdoor movie screening in the beautiful surroundings of the People's Park. For Cruinniú na nÓg 2022 you get to choose the film with an online vote deciding the junior and senior films to be featured on the day. Click on the links below to cast your vote!

This is Art! is back

Ireland's most exciting young people’s art competition, brought to you by RTÉ and the Creative Ireland Programme.

Celebrating visual art made by young people, This Is Art! invites young artists of all abilities, aged 18 and under, individually or in groups, to create an original piece of art that will be showcased in an online art gallery for generations to come.

Limerick Culture and Arts office in partnership with Fresh Film will display works in the build up to Cruinniú na nÓg 2022.

Circus Explored

Learn to juggle with @ISACSIreland are delighted to be involved in Circus Explored, the Cruinniú na nÓg initiative that encourages every child in Ireland to learn to juggle!

Request your set of juggling balls today! Registration closes Wednesday 25th, and supplies are limited! Click on the link below and register now! The library locations for collecting the juggling balls are as follows: Limerick City Library, Dooradoyle Library, Kilmallock Library and Newcastle West Library.
