Discover ways to become more ‘green’ and sustainable at home at this fun, family-friendly environmental event, held in Scoil Dean Cussen Hall on Sunday the 13th of January from 2 to 4 pm. 

Featuring the story of the Rubbish Monster Puppet Show. This show teaches the basics of Recycling and Litter awareness in a highly entertaining, engaging and funny way and is suitable for all ages. The shows has performed in over 750 schools, festivals, libraries and also appeared on “Den TV” on RTE 2.

Other highlights of the Envirofest:
• Veronica Santorum with a demonstration on how to spin wool on a spinning wheel.
• Kathy Tiernan who will do art and crafts with children from recycled materials.
• Anne Brady, horticulturist who will have a workshop on what flowers and plants to grow to attract wildlife to your garden.
• Pauline Walsh will have an information stand on bees and this will feature a bee hive that all can explore.
• Donal O’Leary, Master Composter will be back again this year with Stop Food Waste and tips on composting.
• Sean Hartigan, Project Manager of Living Limerick at An Taisce
• Junior Tidy Towns will have their stand and will be recruiting new members.
