This exhibition will be curated by Dr Zara Power, Assistant Curator of Limerick Museum. It will form part of the wider celebrations across Limerick city and county in March to celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day.
The exhibition will feature a range of items including images and ephemera from the permanent collection of Limerick Museum which chronicle the life and legacy of Saint Patrick, and explores how the day was celebrated in Limerick in times gone. The display will be complimented by colourful artwork created by local school children depicting the many legends surrounding Saint Patrick from his time as a shepherd to his banishment of the snakes.
